GadgIT - Thinking Gadget Repair Shop

1. What we collect

Your name, email address, username and phone number (and address if you add one); the details of your repair requests (device, problem description, photos you upload, price and status); your messages to the shop; your feedback; and a record that you accepted the Terms and Conditions.

2. Why we collect it

To create your account, process and track your repairs, contact you about them, let you message the shop, show you your invoice, and improve the shop's service using customer feedback.

3. Who can see it

Your information is visible to you and to the shop's administrator and technicians who work on your repairs. We do not sell your information. If you pay online with GCash, PayMongo handles the payment details under its own policy.

4. Emails

If the shop has email set up, you may receive emails about your repairs and messages. You can turn them off at any time in Edit Profile.

5. How we protect it

Passwords are stored in scrambled (hashed) form, never as plain text. Access to staff pages is limited to staff accounts.

6. Your rights

You can view and update your details in Edit Profile and ask the shop to correct or delete your information, consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) of the Philippines.

7. Keeping your data

We keep your repair history for as long as it is needed to serve you and to keep the shop's records.
